Jamal Yusuf has been involved in the Somali Ex-Muslim movement for 5 years, running underground support groups for Somalis and other East Africans around the world who deal with issues associated with being Ex-Muslim. He grew up in a Sunni Muslim household and left the religion at an early age. He has helped many Ex-Muslim Africans rebuild their lives and establish their independence. He is an activist focusing on issues within African communities that do not get enough spotlight.
